How is my reservation confirmed?

Once you have completed the booking process Summerland Apartments will send you a confirmation email with the booking details: reservation number, customer data, telephone number, check-in and check-out date, price, as well as the apartment reference.

Who gives me the keys?

We usually contact you the day before to check your estimated time of arrival. We will be waiting for you at the apartment to check you in and get you settled in.

Can I bring my pet?

No se admiten animales de compañía de ningún tipo salvo los recogidos en la Ley 11/2021, de 28 de diciembre, por la que se regulan los perros de asistencia a personas con discapacidad en Andalucía.

Do you have cribs and high chairs for small children?

Yes, at Summerland Apartments we have cribs, high chairs and bathtubs for your baby free of charge, subject to availability and upon request at the time of booking.

Do you have Wifi?

All the apartments at Summerland Apartments have free Wifi connection that guarantees good coverage in all the apartments.

What equipment do the apartments have?

All apartments have air conditioning and heating, free Wifi, flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, oven, washing machine, toaster, iron, ironing board, hair dryer.

We also provide them with a bath kit consisting of shower gel and shampoo.

We provide you with bed linen, sheets, blankets, comforters and shower towels (except in summer). In this case you can contact us and we will see how we can provide it.

Is cleaning included?

In all the apartments of Summerland Apartments the final cleaning is included. If you need any cleaning during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If we need anything during our stay, can someone help us?

In case of any incident during your stay, we have an emergency number available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (+34) 618 681 002.

For anything you need about the apartment you can contact the office (+34) 956 060 100.

What happens if something breaks?

In this case please contact us and we will try to replace it or fix it as soon as possible. We will then evaluate if you have to pay for the damages.

Is parking available?

In the basement of the same building and with elevator access from the garage to the apartment floor.

You can enjoy a parking space included in your reservation all year round, except July and August. Call us and we will inform you of the price.

I don't speak Spanish, do you speak languages?

At Summerland Apartments we speak Spanish, English and Catalan.

The rest of the languages we use the Google translator, which works great. 

Do you have 24h reception service?

Our reception hours are from 08:00 am to 20:00 pm.

We usually contact you the day before to check your estimated time of arrival. We will be waiting for you at the apartment to check you in and get you settled in.

For those of you who arrive very late, we have a system that allows you to enter the apartment by yourself.

Do you have an elevator?

Of course! we have an elevator. Spacious and spacious

How often are the apartments cleaned?

We take care of the final cleaning.

If you need extra cleaning, we can put you in touch with our cleaning team.

What happens if I lose my keys or we leave them inside the apartment?

If you lose the keys, we will have to change the lock. In the case of leaving them on, we would have to call a locksmith. In both cases they will bear the cost of this.

Where can I leave the garbage before I leave?

Just outside the building on the left, on Avda. de Sevilla, there are containers where you can deposit all kinds of garbage. Remember to deposit each material in its corresponding container.

Can I leave my car on the street?

Normally there is enough parking on the street, except in summer. However, remember that parking is available in the basement of the building.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Our cancellation policy varies according to occupancy periods.

  • 100% refund seven days prior to the rental period between October 1and February 28.
  • 0% refund with less than seven days prior to the rental period between October 1stand February 28th.
  • 100% refund one month prior to the rental period between March 1stand September 30th (except July and August).
  • 0% refund with less than one month prior to the rental period between March 1stand September 30th (except July and August).
  • 100% refund of the rent forty-five days prior to the rental period between July 01 and August 31.
  • 0% refund with less than forty-five days prior to the rental period between July 01 and August 31.
  • Free Cancellation 24h on bookings made from November 15 to 30 enjoying the stay until 31.01.2022

If cancelled, modified later or in case of no-show, Summerland Apartments will charge the TOTAL amount of the reservation.

Is there a minimum stay?

At Summerland Apartments we work with a minimum stay of 2 nights.

When will I be charged for the Reserve?

We charge 20% of the reservation fee at the time of booking and the rest at the reception of the apartment.

What are the arrival and departure times?

The apartments are available from 16:00h until 20:00h. After this time you must check availability and will have a surcharge of 30.00 € until 22:00 h and 60.00 € until 24:00h, which will be paid through your card or in cash at the reception of the apartment.

Check-out will always be at 12:00 noon. Later departures will be subject to availability after consultation with Summerland Apartments and will incur an additional charge.

Where do I leave my keys when I leave?

In order to facilitate your departure from the apartment, you can leave the keys inside the apartment. Our staff will pick them up.

How can I print my boarding passes?

Don't worry, if you provide us with your flight or train reservation code, we will print it for you.

Is bed linen included?

Upon arrival we provide you with a set of bath towels and bed linen.

Is smoking allowed?

We are a smoke-free establishment, so smoking is not allowed inside the apartments.

Smoking is allowed on the outdoor terraces.

Do you have TV with international channels? Netflix? Etc...

All apartments have smart tv with netflix apps, amazon prime, etc... just log in with your account.

For foreigners we have satellite TV in several languages.

Do you have laundry service?

All apartments have washing machines but if you still want laundry service we can put you in contact with ours.

I am going to Cadiz for tourism, can you give me advice and recommendations?

Of course! We will be happy to advise you on the different routes to get to know the city as well as the catamaran schedules.

How to get to Rota?

Everything you need to know

Rota is close to four airports:

Jerez de la Frontera (35 Minutes)

When you arrive at the airport, you have several ways to continue your trip to Rota. At the exit of the airport you will see a cab stand. A cab to Rota costs around 50€ (there are small price differences on weekends and during the night). The return trip to the airport is a bit cheaper and costs approx. 45€.

Another option is to take a train from the airport to El Puerto de Santa Maria, which is cheaper, around 3,50€ and takes only 10 minutes. But unfortunately it does not run very often (timetable: From El Puerto de Santa María you can take a cab to Rota for about 30 € and the travel time is about 25 minutes. It is really more worthwhile to take a cab from the airport, it costs the same and you get directly to Rota.

Perhaps the most convenient way to move around the province is to rent a car from one of the rental companies also located at the airport. In Rota you will have no parking problems, as our apartments have private parking in the subway parking of the building (free all year round, except in the high summer season).

Seville (1 hour and 30 minutes)

The most convenient option to get to Rota from Seville airport is to rent a car right at the airport. If you don't mind using several means of transport, you can take the bus from the airport to the central station of Santa Justa in Seville (duration: about 15 minutes, price: approx. 4,00€). From there there are local and regional trains to El Puerto de Santa Maria. The possible onward journey from there to Rota can be found in the previous paragraph (Jerez de la Frontera).

Due to the high cost we do not recommend in the case from Seville, to take a cab directly to Rota.

Malaga ( 2 hours and 30 minutes)

Malaga airport is a two and a half hour drive from Rota. We recommend renting a car at the airport. The drive is also very nice.

Gibraltar (1 hour and 30 minutes)

From Gibraltar you drive an hour and a half to Rota. Here, too, it is recommended to rent a car.


The nearest train stations are:

  • Jerez de la Frontera (30 Minutes)
  • El Puerto de Santa María (25 Minutes)

The most comfortable way to enjoy the beauty of the province of Cadiz.

Summerland Apartments has private parking in the same building where the apartments are located (free all year round, except in the summer season), so you will have no parking problems and you will be able to move independently.

As for the travel routes, this depends, of course, on your starting point and you should not have any problem thanks to new technologies (GPS, Google maps). In any case, our staff is at your disposal to inform you about the best options.
