How is my booking confirmed?

Once you’ve finalized the process of booking, Summerland Apartments will send you a confirmation e-mail where you can see all the details: booking refrence number, client details, telephone number, in and out dates, price, etc.

Who gives me the keys?

We will be in touch with you in the days prior to your arrival. We’ll be waiting at the apartment for your check-in and will hand in the keys in person.

Are animals allowed?

Unfortunately, we do not allow animals in our apartments unless they are required due to disability.

Do you have baby cribs and high chairs?

Yes. Summerland Apartments can provide you with baby cribs, high chairs and baby bath tubs for free if you ask previous to your booking.

Do the flats have internet connection?

All Summerland Apartments have free wifi connectivity.

What equipments is in the apartments?

All our flats have AC and heating, free Wifi, flat screen TV’s, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, oven, toaster, griddle, ironing board and hair dryer.

They also come equipped with shampoo and hair gel.

We have at your disposal fresh linen, quilts, and towels (not beach towels).

Is cleaning included?

All our apartments include a cleaning service which is included in the final price. If during your stay you need extra cleaning service, please get in touch with us.

If I need something during my stay, how can I get in touch?

If anything comes up we have a round-the-clock phone number you can call (+34) 618 681 002 or also get in touch with or office by calling  (+34) 956 060 100.

What happens if something breaks?

Please get in touch with us and we will fix it ASAP.

IS THERE PARKING?

In the basement of the same building and with elevator access from the garage to the floor of the apartment.

You can enjoy a parking space included in your reservation all year round, except July and August. Call us and we will inform you of the price.

I DON’T SPEAK SPANISH; DO YOU SPEAK LANGUAGES?

At Summerland Apartments we speak Spanish, English and Catalan.

The other the languages help us Google translate 🙂

DO YOU HAVE A 24-HOUR RECEPTION SERVICE?

Our reception time are from 08:00 am to 20:00 pm.

We usually contact you the day before check in to specify the arrival time. We will be waiting for you in the apartment to check-in and leave you well accommodated in it.

For those who arrive very late we have a system for you to access the apartment yourself.

CAN I SMOKE IN THE APARTMENT?

We are a smoke-free establishment, so smoking is not allowed inside the apartments.

You can smoke on the outdoor terraces.

What happens if I lose the keys or leave them inside the apartment?

Please make sure to keep keys on you at all times, as we will have to charge you for a blacksmith if keys are lost or forgotten inside the apartment.

Where is the nearest rubbish container?

After exiting the building you will find one on the left side in Av. de Sevilla. Please remember to deposit your rubbish in the corresponding container.

Can I park in the street?

Normally there are enough free spots on the street, except in the summer months when it tends to get a bit crowded. We do have subterranean parking – please get in touch to inquire about prices in July and August.

What are the cancelation terms?

If you wish to cancel your reservation with us, our policy depends on the dates of occupation.

  • 100% refund seven days before the rental period between October 1 and February 28.
  • 0% refund less than seven days before the rental period between October 1 and February 28.
  • 100% refund one month before the rental period between March 1 and September 30 (except July and August).
  • 0% refund less than one month before the rental period between March 1 and September 30 (except July and August).
  • 100% refund forty-five days before the rental period between July 1 and August 31.
  • 0% refund less than forty-five days before the rental period between July 1 and August 31.

If you cancel or modify out of the notification period, or simply fail to show up, Summerland Apartments will keep the total amounts of the reserve.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, there is a minimum stay of 2 nights.

Do I need to pay upfront?

We charge 20% upfront and the rest is paid at check-in.

When is check-in and check-out?

Our apartments are available for check-in from 16:00 to 20:00. If you with to check-in after 20:00 there is a surcharge of 30€ until 22:00 and 60€ until midnight. You can pay with a credit/debit card or cash at reception.

Check-out time is always before 12:00. If you wish to check-out after please check availability with us, and be advised there will be a surcharge.

Where do I leave the keys when I leave?

You may leave the keys inside the apartment and our staff will get them.

Can you print my boarding pass?

Certainly, if you facilitate your booking reference for your bus or train, we will print your boarding pass.

Are bed sheets included?

Yes. Our apartments include fresh bed sheets and towels.

DO YOU HAVE AN ELEVATOR?

Of course! that we have elevator. Big and spacious 🙂

HOW OFTEN ARE THE APARTMENTS CLEANED?

We do the final cleaning.

If you need extra cleaning, we can put you in touch with our cleaning team.

DO YOU HAVE A TV WITH INTERNATIONAL CHANNELS, NETFLIX? ETC…

All apartments have smart tv with netflix, amazon prime, etc … you need to log in with your account.

For foreigners we have satellite TV in several languages.

HOW TO GET TO ROTA

Everything you need to know.
Avión

Rota is close to four  airports:

Jerez de la Frontera (35 Minutes)

Once landing at the airport, you have several ways to continue your journey to Rota. Outside of the airport you will find a taxi stop. A taxi to Rota costs around 50 euros (there are different prices on weekends and at night). The price back to the airport is a little cheaper approx.  45 euros.

Another option is to arrive by train. To do this, you can take a local train from the airport to El Puerto de Santa María, which is cheaper, around 3.50euros and takes only 10 minutes. But unfortunately, does not work very often (timetable:  www.renfe.es). From El Puerto de Santa María you can take a taxi to Rota for about 30 euros; this takes about 25 minutes. It’s really worth taking a taxi from the airport, it costs the same price and you get directly to Rota.

There is also a bus stop at the airport exit, from where there is a bus line directly to Rota. You can check the schedule at the following link: www.cmtbc.es.

Perhaps the best way to get around the province is to rent a car from one of the car rentals companies that are also located at the airport. Once in Rota, you won´t have parking problems, as our apartments have private parking in the underground of the building (free all year round, except in the high summer season).

Seville (1 hour 30 minutes)

The best option to get to Rota from Seville airport is to rent a car at the airport. If you do not mind to get different transports, you can take the bus from the airport to the central station of Santa Justa in Sevilla (duration: about 15 minutes, price: approx. 4,00€). From there, there are local and regional trains to El Puerto de Santa María. From El Puerto de Santa María you can take a taxi to Rota for about 30 euros; the travel time is about 25 minutes. We do not recommend in the case of Seville, take a taxi directly to Rota, is very expensive.

Málaga (2 hours 30 minutes)

We recommend renting a rental car at the airport. 

Gibraltar (1 hour 30 minutes)

Here, too, it is recommended to rent a car.

Train

The nearest stations are:

  • Jerez de la Frontera (30 Minutes)
  • El Puerto de Santa Maria (25 Minutes)

Car

The most comfortable way to  enjoy  the beauty of the province of  Cadiz.

Summerland Apartments has private parking in the same building where the apartments are located (free all year round, except in the summer season), so there will be no parking issues for you and  you will be able to move independently.

As for the travel routes, this depends, from city you come from and you should not have any problems thanks to the new technologies (GPS, Google maps). In any case, our staff is at your disposal to inform you about the best options.
